Jon Huntsman getting late surge in N.H.

In the days before New Hampshire’s primary, Huntsman’s campaign has been experiencing a surge unlike anything it has seen in the past several months. A Suffolk University tracking poll out yesterday put Huntsman in third place behind Mitt Romney and Ron Paul, with 13 percent of the vote, up from 7 percent last week. After doing around 170 public events in New Hampshire - many attended by no more than a dozen people and a handful of reporters, Huntsman now finds himself surrounded by dozens of journalists, with hundreds of people turning out for town hall meetings and packing the coffee shops where he has been practicing retail politics in the final days of the campaign.
