Obama budget forecasts a $1.3 trillion deficit for this fiscal year - Nation

In the final budget proposal of his term, President Obama on Monday will revive the deficit-reduction and job-creation proposals he first called for in September and forecast a $1.3 trillion deficit for this fiscal year that drops to $901 billion next year, administration officials said yesterday.
