Hanscom workers face cuts

Base to lose portion of its US funding

At least 1,000 contractors and government personnel working for Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford are at risk of being let go, according to internal documents and base officials, under a four-year plan that could dim the base’s prospects for long-term survival.
