Health care law reaches Supreme Court next week

Most would pay nothing extra, but many oppose

Having a medical plan or else paying a fine is about to become another certainty of American life, unless the Supreme Court says no. The justices will decide whether the government has the authority to force people to buy something. They are allotting an unusually long period, six hours over three days, beginning March 26, to hear arguments challenging the law’s constitutionality. A ruling is expected in June.
