Mitt Romney’s campaign advisers Wednesday morning, hours after winning six states around the country, claimed they are amassing a lead that would be “insurmountable” for any of their rivals to overcome. The former Massachusetts governor has oftentimes not delivered the kind of red meat rhetoric that excites the conservative base. But his advisers, making a methodical mathematical argument, suggest that it’s only a matter of time before he wins the nomination.

No lead is insurmountable. Yes - I want Romney, but let's not get c0cky.
With all the negative comments he's had to endure concerning his viability, even though he has a record of success, Romney has proven the old saying true. "You can't win for losing"
Just keep ignoring what the voters are telling you and keep paying people to say how well you're doing. Cheney taught us that if you repeat something often enough, people end up having to believe it. Mitt, why would people vote for a perpetual loser? You know that we elected Mr. Olympics, not Mr Romney, as governor. You lost every election here that you got into. And you lost in Iowa and Maine even though your employees helped by repoting you won before they counted.
Am I alone in foreseeing a Romney-Santorum ticket? Don't laugh. Remember the mirror-image precedent of Reagan-Bush in 1980.
a Romney-Santorum ticket will be A George McGovern moment.
