Mitt Romney offering perks in his bid for major donors
A race to match Obama fund-raising
Mitt Romney’s fundraising operation is aggressively trying to scoop up new donors for his campaign, offering up incentives of special access as they seek to win over top Republican donors who until now have been on the sidelines. Those who contribute $50,000, and become a “founder,’’ will earn a retreat with Romney. The campaign is also crafting several different levels of donors, with the top level going to those who can raise at least $500,000.
