Kerry Kennedy arrested after crash

Police say she was driving while impaired

NEW YORK — Kerry Kennedy, the former wife of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo of New York, was arrested Friday morning on a charge of driving while impaired by drugs.

The police in the town of North Castle found Kennedy at about 8 a.m. in a 2008 Lexus after 911 calls reporting a vehicle operating in an erratic manner on Interstate 684, according to a report from the State Police.
