CONCORD, N.H. — In 2002, Kelly Ayotte was a 34-year-old state prosecutor when she was called into the office of Craig Benson, the newly elected governor.
Benson, a Republican, told her he needed a legal counsel, a job Ayotte appeared keen to land. At the close of the interview, though, Ayotte concluded on an unexpected note.

As noted in the piece: Due to geography alone - not a chance. //// She brings nothing to the ticket that helps Romney. /// I suspect at this point Romney's team is trying to figure out if they can arrange for Bob McDonnell to have a sex-change operation between now and the convention.
As the piece states, she brings nothing to the ticket geographically, or electorally. / / / I suspect Romney's team is investigating the possibility of arranging for Bob McDonnell to have a sex-change operation between now and the convention.
What, a delay in posting? Not nearly as funny (to me at least) the second time.
Ayotte actually practiced law as NH AG. Obama lectured about con law but obviously doesn't understand our constitution.
What, Marsha Coakley wasn't considered? Maybe Obama is looking to tap her for some Federal position, NOT.
Wow...fantastic....really big news...now, Willard, about those tax returns you're hiding...when do you plan to let the voter see them?...we're waiting.

Care to provide concrete examples? Oh wait, this is just another of your party's talking points on ObamaCare. Talk about sophistry...
My, my, such thin skin you have. Anyway, who said anything about ObamaCare?
"...she doesn't offer anything geographically or electorally? No worries, the liberals demagogues and Democrat demagogues will..." / / / You're entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts. / / / She is from the state adjacent to the one Romney was Governor of, thus no regional advantage, and even if she helps Romney carriy her home state (probable), that adds a just 4 electoral votes, of the 270 he needs, hardly a windfall. VA, PA, OH, or CO are much bigger prizes. That's called political analysis, demagoguery is something else entirely. Instead of Fox, try here: www.merriam-webster.com
Romney/Hoover 2012
Oh, I forgot to mention, if he overlooks her lack of lack of geographical / electoral advantages in order to increase his appeal to women voters, that will be pandering. Either way, explaining his political motivations will not be 'demogogeury', just dispassionate, or in some cases, passionate, analysis.

Could you perhaps back up your claim that the President obviously doesn't understand the Constitution? As to Sen. Ayotte, she would be a great asset, though Sen. Portman probably brings more electoral weight, since there are more votes at stake in Ohio than there are in NH. Personally I think Gov. Romney needs Condi Rice most of all, by virtue of her experience as Sec. of State. I do not think, however, that she would be interested in reprising that role. Jon Huntsman, if Romney wins, would be a good Sec. of State, if he is interested. If Obama wins, I think we will see both Ayotte and Huntsman as candidates in 2016.
Liberal is not a self indictment it is a badge of honor, and does not relegate one to be a part of any party. Liberalism is merely a way of viewing the world, with the hope that by making rational, substantive changes to the status quo, we can incorporate new information, learned through the arts and sciences, into our ways of doing things and thereby improve the lives for everyone in our nation, and here on this very small planet. That's liberal thinking, and I am guilty as charged.
