For father of slain woman, 13-year fight finally ends

MILTON — The call from the governor’s office came in about 2:30 p.m., and with it, 13 years of waiting ended for Les Gosule.

Moments after hearing the news, Gosule let out a whoop.

Our Dear governor was not happy about signing this bill, the pressure he received was overwhelming. Time for Patrick to stand up for the citizens in this state and stop protecting the criminals.

Les Gosule hit just right when he said Tuesday. "To violent criminals and their apologists who complain that Melissa's Law is too harsh, I say: "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime". If you don't want to go to prison under this law, take responsibility for your actions and refrain from committing multiple acts of violence. It's that simple." http://3strikeslaw.blogspot.com/

It is amazing that a governor who didn't have the politcal courage to do the right thing, only when he is embarrased, to save his own image, caves like a two dollar suitcase! he didn't want to be shown up as soft on criminals. He professed about the letters he received about how CRIMINALS have turned their lives around, yet mentions nothing about the victims or their families, if they have been able to do this! To even suggest Deval should be aplauded for this is an insut to the victims! Who cares what criminals and their allies think! The victims voices, should be heard first!
