Wisconsin temple gunman was white supremacist

Army veteran played guitar in racist heavy metal bands

OAK CREEK, Wis. — The gunman in the shooting rampage that left six people dead and three wounded at a Sikh temple here was identified Monday as Wade M. Page, a 40-year-old Army veteran who had played for years in white supremacist heavy-metal bands.

Law enforcement officials said Page, who served in the Army from 1992 to 1998, trained in psychological warfare before he was demoted and discharged more than a decade ago.

********************''The music that comes from these bands is incredibly violent, and it talks about MURDERING Jews, black people, gay people, and a whole host of others. It is music that could not be sold over the counter around the country.'' This sounds like pure, unadulterated HATE to me. I believe this is a HATE CRIME. Yet in the article it is said this horrendous act will be treated as "domestic terrorism". That is what the TV news is reporting the shooting as. Who decides - The FBI? JUSTICE? What is the definition of each - Domestic Terrorism / Hate Crime? What does it matter? There is a difference between trying to instill terror in someone and just shooting someone because you hate them.********** Just wondering.*************

NHCabin- if it doesn't matter, then why are you so obviously worked-up about it?

There are no white supremacists...we have a black president and Fox news and the GOP tells me all is well!
