Mitt Romney rips President Obama on Mideast

Obama’s camp calls rival reckless

LEXINGTON, Va. — In a wide-ranging foreign policy address, Mitt Romney accused President Obama of a lack of forceful leadership in the Mideast on Monday, saying that a waning of American resolve in the region has made it a more dangerous place.

‘‘It is time to change course in the Middle East,’’ Romney said, adding that he knows ‘‘the president hopes for a safer, freer, and a more prosperous Middle East allied with the United States. I share this hope. But hope is not a strategy. We cannot support our friends and defeat our enemies in the Middle East when our words are not backed up by deeds.’’

After listening to Romney's speech, I felt he was rather shrill and bellicose, upspeaking at the end of each sentence. Some of his finger-wagging, clearly directed at Obama, lacked creible substance. It is my understanding he is gathering an ultra-right coterie of neocon's in the same style and framework as George W. Bush. We are all in for a very dangerous ride should this misguided candidate with virtually no foreign policy expereince indeed become the POTUS.

It is claimed that the Obama campaign is "regrouping."  Not too sure how Axlerod can get a TELEPROMPTER attached to Obama to enable Obama to discuss his foreign policy.

Besides, Obama is still laughing about his poor debating performance and talking about "Big Bird."

It appears Clint Eastwood was right and Obama is the greatest HOAX perpretrated upon the American people. Although, it is told he is making some pretty good beer in the White House.

Obama has failed us, but he is having a big laugh while partying, campaigning and uttering, stacto sentences of labout 6 words.

Romney believes the U.S. should act as if the world hasn't changed since 1958. Besides that he will say whatever he thinks will get him elected. We should have learned that when he was governor.

Apparently Obama supporters have started to hear the fat lady starting to sing. It's almost time to play the race card. You know the line. If you don't vote for Obama, you are a racist. Forget the fact that he is incompetant.

all big bird's fault

Could someone tell Mitt this isn't TV? If he were to win, the old Bush crowd will be looking for WMD's all over the Middle East.  And then what?  Another war fought by other people's children.

Sort of like George W Bush!!And Mitt! Both too busy to fight their generation's wars.

The Republians just love a good war.

hmmm...love that old chestnut of expand the military, but don't worry about how we will pay for it.  Wasn't it Rumsfeld who said you go to war with the Army you have not the one you want?

Of course after Flopney's disastrous World-Tour he shouldn't be talking about trying to take on other countries, especially ones like Syria that are being backed in the UN from the likes of Russia and China...or are we going to take them on and start up the Cold War one more time?  Yeah, that'll get some jobs created!  And not government jobs, just jobs for the government, but the government doesn't know how to make jobs...yeah, so confusing isn't it?
