UNION, N.J. — Widespread gas shortages stirred fears among residents and disrupted some rescue and emergency services Thursday as the New York region struggled to return to a semblance of normalcy after being ravaged by Hurricane Sandy.
Tiny increments of progress — some subway and bus lines were back in service — were overshadowed by new estimates of the storm’s financial cost, struggles to restore power, and by the discovery of more bodies in flooded communities.

The Obama friendly AP dares to point out.."I’m trying to get gas for my family,’’ Brown said. ‘‘Everywhere you go, it’s either a riot or there’s no gas.’’ The NJ public wants GASOLINE, Oil and Coal. NOT the Fisker battery operated cars, 16 of which EXPLODED after going underwater...The storm is NOT going to be a boost for Obama.

It is frustrating to think that so few learn lessons from the past. Widespread gas shortages have occurred after most disasters - lesson to be learned ~ fill your vehicle's gas tank when warned of threatening, large storms heading your way! People missing? The Governors and Mayors of coastal towns & cities were begging their residents to "evacuate." ~ when warned, follow the instructions of the Mayors & Governors to save your life and that of your family. . . the list goes on and on.
