Court orders look at health care challenge

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court has revived a Christian college’s challenge to President Obama’s health care overhaul, with the acquiescence of the Obama administration.

The court on Monday ordered the federal appeals court in Richmond, Va., to consider the claim by Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., that the health care law violates the school’s religious freedoms.

How so?  Their claim is "my religion exempts me from the law of the land."  It is they who want special treatment, they should be prepared to explain why they should get it.

This should be very interesting to see how Roberts will handle this one.

In June 2012, the Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts was with the majority on both sides of the ruling on the health-care reform law, upholding the law while finding that Congress had overstepped its authority.

* The issue in point - Congress ordering every American to buy a government-approved level of health insurance or pay a penalty, - hence they had overstepped its authority under the Commerce Clause.
