State Dept. security chief, 2 others resign after Benghazi report

WASHINGTON (AP) — Three State Department officials resigned under pressure Wednesday, less than a day after a damning report blamed management failures for a lack of security at the US diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, where militants killed the US ambassador and three other Americans on Sept. 11.

An administration official said Eric Boswell, the assistant secretary of state for diplomatic security, Charlene Lamb, the deputy assistant secretary responsible for embassy security, and an unnamed official with the Bureau of Near East Affairs, had stepped down. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to discuss personnel matters publicly.

This was the State department investigating itself, and the conclusion was that there was a massive leadership failure.   Time to testify to Congress Hillary, you've missed that opportunity ( responsibility)  twice already ...

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was to have appeared at Thursday’s hearings, but canceled after fainting and sustaining a concussion last week while recovering from a stomach virus. Clinton is under doctors’ orders to rest. And what is the NAME of her "Doctor"? Valerie Jarrett, David Axlerod, David Pluffe, or Barack Obama?

Give it up man- her whole staff is there.

Then her whole staff is in the tank for her. This is way too much of a coincidence. And the State Dept's "independent" critique of itself, amazingly holds NOBODY responsible, and just blames the entire affair on a "System failure". Then as Col. David Hunt noted, the report makes NO MENTION of what happened before the attack, and more importantly makes no critique of Susan Rice's, Hillary Clinton's and Barack Obama 's actions AFTER the attack. The State Department is saying "NOTHING to see here, folks, just move along".   Hillary does not want to go on the record as having participated in the biggest government coverup in history.

Also note the report's convenient conclusion" The board determined that no individual officials ignored or violated their duties and recommended no disciplinary action" So Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton ("I accept full responsibility"), and Barack Obama ("I am the president and the buck stops here"), are entirely BLAMELESS! State report says in effect, their actions couldn't possibly have anything to do with the upcoming election. Even though they all went on television to blame the attack on "The Video" when they had to know it was not.. And Obama followed that with telling the United Nations 6 times that "The Video" was responsible. And followed by a Obama and Clinton TV ad in Pakistan which blamed the attack on "the Video" State Department is telling those nosy Congressional Republicans "Sorry, Case is Closed. NOTHING to see here folks. Just move along".
