Americans now favor stronger gun laws

WASHINGTON — Stronger gun laws are favored by 58 percent of Americans, the highest percentage in eight years, according to a national poll conducted after 20 young students and six teachers were gunned down in Newtown, Conn.

The results of the USA Today/Gallup poll released Thursday show 58 percent of respondents favor making laws that cover the sale of firearms more strict. That’s the highest level since 2004, when 60 percent favored stronger gun laws. Thirty-four percent called for weaker laws, the same level as in 2004.

Disarm the law abiding gun owners bu let the government be fully armed from pistols to missles to drones to atomic weapons. History repeats itself but in the past with lessor weapons but  the same aim  POWER CONTROL AND RULE over the populus who in their ignorance  were programed to accept a Liberal Progressive Socialistic philosophy by their government controled education system. The lessons of our forefathers and their wisdom of life liberty and happiness with God at our side has been obliterated by the desires of a few men with world power aspirations. Are you one of those to give that right to rule you and your life?????

"mlmlrn" -- You guys are always worrying about a Socialist take-over for some reason.  That's hardly likely to happen.  But you SHOULD worry about a right-wing, Fascist military take-over that could install a military dictator, which is more common in countries around the world.  It's not the left you need to worry about, it's people like yourself, hiding behind the guise of "protecting the rights of citizens."  Most of the dictotors around the world are not progressive, but just the opposite.

How come nobody asked me what I think about gun laws?   I always gotta wonder who these mysterious poll victims are . . .
