ATLANTA — A student opened fire at his middle school Thursday afternoon, wounding a 14-year-old in the neck before an armed officer at the school was able to get the gun away, police said.
Shots were fired in the Price Middle School courtyard, just south of downtown around 1:50 p.m. and the boy was hit, police Chief George Turner said. In the aftermath, a teacher received minor cuts.

The NRA and Uncle Wayne should be all over this story. Imagine, we are reaching a point where guns are in almost every household or accessible through a relative or friend. Any form of gun control is worthless with this kind of saturation.
True they are everywhere and always will be so no need to argue that one. What they should be is completely and utterly secured from a person like that.
