COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio’s Republican governor said Monday he will push for expanding Medicaid under the federal health care law, a move that would give many more poor people access to government care.
It also sets up a potential fight among the governor and Republicans who control the state Legislature and are strongly against President Obama’s health care law.

"This is not an endorsement off Obamacare" says Mr. Kasich. It is however a ringing endorsement of provisions found only in Obamacare to accomplish this expansion of medical coverage. Another example of passing yourself in the hall. Another example, both coming and going, of the vacuity of Republican health care thinking and policy in America. All of these shape shifters should go rest in a bucket until their logic doesn't dissolve at the first encounter with reality.
Naturally the AP article does not say what is actually in the "Affordable care Act". Anybody with 10% of a brain KNOWS that the Federal government will not follow through with its promise to comntinually fund the Medicaid Health Care Exchanges.. John Kasich fears that the liberal Cleveland Plain Dealer will BASH him for refusing the "Free Money". Now the CBO has just stated that 7 million Americans will lose their doctor and their privaste health care. Business will DROP health insurance. And that is an extremely low estimate. As Joe Kennedy would say" Don't leave people out in the COLD". But that is what is happening...In MA the Medicaid Health care exchanges will BANKRUPT this state, along with RomneyCare...THAT's why Deval Patrick is calling for new taxes.
