WASHINGTON — Senator Lindsey Graham said Tuesday that Chuck Hagel ‘‘seems clueless’’ on US policy toward Iran and urged the Obama administration to reconsider its defense secretary nominee.
In a statement, the South Carolina Republican lawmaker stopped short of saying he would filibuster the choice if the president pushes forward as expected. No Democrat has come out in opposition to Hagel and he picked up more support on Tuesday as Senator Kay Hagan, Democrat of North Carolina, announced that she would vote for the former two-term Republican senator and Vietnam combat veteran.

Lindsay is simply pointing out what is obvious. Hagel is completely INCOMPETENT to serve in any cabinet position. But he is Obama's choice because he hates the US military, just likke our Commander in chied, barack Obama...And, just like Obama is a APPEASER who will allow Iran to develop nukes. It is amazing that Obama is so arrogant toward Americans while he bows down to Americas's enemies. And Republicans asked Hagel why did Iran's Foreign Affairs department said that Hagel is an excellet choice to As far as Democratic Senators are concerned, they had to COACH Chuck Hagel. ..If Hagel is confirmed then Valerie Jarrett, David Ploufe, and David Axlerod will be the ones who will be running the Defense Department. Right now they have approved sending 20 fighter bombers to israel's new enemy, Egypt. Hagel will be the Defense Secretary who aims to leave America DEFENSELESS.
