President Obama’s chief of staff said Sunday that the White House had ‘‘grave concern’’ that national security was at risk, given the Senate Republicans’ delaying tactics in confirming both a new Pentagon chief and a director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
The chief of staff, Denis McDonough, made the comment on ABC’s ‘‘This Week,’’ one of several Sunday shows where he made debut appearances as the top White House adviser.

"President Obama’s chief of staff said Sunday that the White House had ‘‘grave concern’’ that national security was at risk"... Nothing could be farther from the truth. Since when is Barack Obama (it's NOT the White House, it's Barack Obama) concerned about National Security?..His cabinet choices are all for "negotiating" with Iran, NOT ending it's nuke program. Obama hasn't told you yet, but he and Valerie Jarrett are ready to accept a nuclear Iran. He lets N. Korea conduct more nuke tests. He puts Mohammed Morsi in power in Egypt...And there's Benghazi. Obama won't even say that al Qaeda just declared WAR on America by attacking the embassy. And finally Obama and all of his cabinet members, as well as the White House staff want to CUT defense spending as much as possible. Why? So that more money is available to combat America's number National Security issue: Climate Change!...America's "security will be IMPROVED if none of his cabinet choices are confirmed.
