WASHINGTON (AP) — As public evidence mounts that the Chinese military is responsible for stealing massive amounts of U.S. government data and corporate trade secrets, the Obama administration is eyeing fines and other trade actions it may take against Beijing or any other country guilty of cyberespionage.

It is long past due that the US responds to the relentless theivery of the Chinese government and it's shadow agents working ceaselessly to steal any information it deems worthy. This is what happens when your government (pushed by capatilist interests) and corporate entities get in bed with a corrupt, maleveloent, communist government. The rules of detent go out the window. Why do we love China so much? And yet, hate Cuba so much that we cannot reverse years of useless emabargo? Please explain that one to me. Oh, wait..I know the answer: lots of pratically slave labor to exploit in China. One of the best places to send jobs. Just ask Apple. The chickens have come home to roost. A brusque response is most definitely called for here. And I know that most modern nations are guilty of the same information theft. But, China is one of the most aggresive for theft of both governmental classified information as well as hacking of ordinary citizens computers. The world needs to call China out on this behaviour.
