Education and the military would take among the biggest hits in Massachusetts from automatic cuts to the federal budget set to take hold this week, according to a report the White House issued Sunday as it seeks to avoid the impending economic fallout.
The White House compiled the numbers from federal agencies and its own budget office. The numbers are based only on the $85 billion in cuts for this fiscal year, from March to September, that are set to take effect Friday. The White House said some states could shift funds to cover shortfalls.

What is most despicable is that the Tea Party stooges who make the rounds of the Sunday morning talk shows, CNN and Faux News act like it's all the President's fault, and even that the effects of the sequester wouldn't be all that bad. These empty talking heads are either lying or stupid, and should be ignored.
