Those who say there's no Jewish lobby must think Santa lives at the north pole. It's quite obvious from the vitriol directed at a man who has the temerity to put consideration for the US ahead of Israel. I'm a Catholic, but the welfare of the US would besomewhat further up the list from the Vatican. Another blunder in the eyes of the vaunted solons we have today is the idea that the military exists for the service of the people, not the people in thrall to the military-industrial establlshment . When you see those who are trying to red-dog Hagel, be aware that they owe concerns other than their constituents.
Congratulations, Secretary Hagel, and thank you for your service: past, present, and future!
"Sen. Dan Coats, R-Ind., cited Hagel’s at-times halting testimony at his confirmation hearing and his misstatement that the US has a policy of containment toward Iran rather than thwarting Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.
‘‘He has an embarrassing lack of knowledge about our policy toward Iran,’’ Coats said."
Actually Chuck Hagel did NOT make a missstatement here. When Barack Obama tells Iran "all Options are on the Table", Iran's mullas know what that means. America's options against Iran's nuclear weapons program will remain ON THE TABLE. Obama is not telling the truth here. He is an APPEASER. He has NO INTENTION of confronting Iran...It is obvious to see when Obama tells North Korea that it's nuclear tests "are very provocative and there are consequences", and then he does NOTHING AT ALL....And this is why Chuck Hagel, who ALSO has no stomach for confronting Iran, is a bad and dangerous choice for Secretary of Defense.

Senator John McCain who voted against the man who he indicated if he were president he would appoint as Secretary of Defense. This same "honorable" Senator picked Sarah Palin to be 2nd in line to be president. Enough said.
