Mitt Romney steps back on national stage

Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is reemerging after nearly four months in seclusion at his Southern California home.

Former aides describe his burst of activity this month — a national broadcast interview, a speech at a gathering of conservatives — as a thank-you tour of sorts designed to close out a lengthy political career.

Mitt, whey don't you do something useful and productive, and give us your solution, right now, to the sequester problem. Do you think we should just let the cuts take place exactly as Obama was forced to do yesterday, or do you have a better idea, as far as closing some tax loopholes to raise some revenues, and maybe make some better, more well thought out cuts in other areas. What is your best proposal NOW to bridge the gap? How would you bring BOTH sides together NOW? What would be your best statesman-like approach to solving this now, without a lot more of your posturing and political b.s.? Your party needs help in dealing with the Tea Bag nuts, and since you have nothing to lose now, why don't you tell the Tea Party to move forwrd with agreeing to close some tax loopholes?

Well said. All during his run for president he kept referring to his great jobs plans and how he was going to

blah blah blah. If these people really cared about the American people and the economy they should devulge their

solutions ASAP and not wait to see if they are going to win or lose an election. Bunch of puffed up blowhards.

Let's call it Romney's reticence because he doesn't have a solution. He's in a current mode of personal public relations. He needs to rebuild the public Romney brand just to get through daily life now.

Mitt, We did not miss you when you were 'gone' and we are not interested...

It's like they say, "I can't miss you until you leave."

JUST GO AWAY!!!

Why can't bed bugs find a place

Much more fitting for the human race?

They could hide if they so wish

In Persian rugs in joyful bliss.

But a prankish life they choose to pursue,

Such as biting butts

Or getting drunk on us

As vampires do.
