Bodies of two jet skiers found in N.Y.

NEW YORK — Police have recovered the bodies of two jet skiers who went missing in the waters off Coney Island.

NYPD divers recovered the bodies of Willie Tom and his friend Celine Fu Friday afternoon.

Police and the Coast Guard began searching for the 46-year-old Tom and 29-year-old Fu at around 8:45 p.m. Thursday. The Coast Guard suspended its search when the NYPD found the bodies in Gravesend Bay, west of Coney Island in Brooklyn.

Witnesses said Fu fell from the watercraft and Tom went missing after attempting to retrieve her.
