Newt Gingrich continues to surge in early voting states. In Florida, a state where Mitt Romney’s campaign has placed early emphasis, Gingrich is leading Romney by a 2-to-1 margin, according to a new CNN poll of voters in four early states. If the election were held today, 48 percent of likely Republican voters said they would support Gingrich, compared with 25 percent for Romney.
