Remaining GOP candidates debate tonight in S.C.

The Republican presidential field reassembles tonight for a debate in South Carolina, its first since the voting in Iowa and New Hampshire and perhaps its last best chance to break Mitt Romney’s momentum toward their party’s 2012 nomination. It also will come hours after the field winnowed anew, with former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman announcing he would drop out of the race. Romney, Ron Paul, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Perry are meeting at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
