Bill Hudak quits 2012 campaign against Tierney with blast at fellow Republican

Attorney Bill Hudak, who posed a sharply conservative challenge to US Representative John Tierney in 2010, has decided against a rematch - clearing the field for a head-to-head matchup between Tierney and former state Senator Richard Tisei. Nonetheless, Hudak blasted his fellow Republican, suggesting Tisei will not unseat the incumbent Democrat and that an uncontested GOP primary “leaves most of you no real choice” in the campaign. He signed a statement on his campaign website “your future congressman.”
