Scott Brown adds small ball to big thoughts as he seeks reelection to US Senate

It isn’t all policy views and big thoughts as Senator Scott Brown seeks reelection. The Massachusetts Republican is also playing small ball. First, on Wednesday, his reelection committee released a radio ad in which Brown attest to his love for the Boston Red Sox. Today, the Huntington’s Disease Society of America announced that Brown would be in a free-throw competition on Saturday. Moments later, Brown’s campaign commitee released a radio ad and web video paying tribute to St. Patrick’s Day.

He's a fake just like Romney, and if voters choose this superficial man over Warren, then they deserve what they get, spaghetti without meatballs.

What is it with Scott Brown and radio reports? They all start with an announcer saying, "Here's Scott Brown with the Scott Brown Radio Report" as if it's a news story. This one is about how he loves the Sox. He made another one about the Pats and included some "Havlicek stole the ball!!" audio for good measure. Does Scott think Mass voters are stupid enough to think this is a real "radio report?" Does he think that by slobbering all over -- and trying to link himself with -- our sports teams we'll be more likely to vote for him? Doesn't he have anything better to do as a U.S. Senator?
