Mitt Romney raises $12.6m in March

Mitt Romney’s campaign announced today that it had raised nearly $12.6 million in March, the largest monthly haul of his campaign so far but still significantly behind President Obama. All told, Romney has brought in $87 million during his primary campaign, and he had nearly $10.1 million cash on hand at the end of March. Obama’s campaign announced earlier that it took in $53 million in March. The campaign hasn’t yet said how much cash it still has.
