Scott Brown sinks half-court shot in front of excited Cape Cod kids

He was known as “Downtown Scottie Brown” for his jump-shooting ability in college, but Senator Scott Brown has proven he’s also “Next-Zip Code Scottie Brown.” The Massachusetts Republican sunk an underhand, half-court basketball shot on Friday while visiting the Hyannis Youth and Community Center. Brown then ran off the court, arms raised in victory, as children at the center cheered him on. The scene was captured on video by Brown’s team and distributed by email.
