Democrat Elizabeth Warren today agreed to debate Senator Scott Brown on the radio, answering the Republican’s challenge to her but also putting pressure on him to accept two regional TV debates she has been seeking.
The two candidates will be meeting on WTKK-FM at a date they must still negotiate. The debate will be moderated by Jim Braude, a former Cambridge city councilor, and Margery Eagan, a liberal columnist at the Boston Herald.

So she will appear on Egan and Braude, clearly the most liberal - friendly local radio talk show and refuses of go on with Dan Rea, a conservative. What's the matter, Rachel Madow couldn't make the trip? (( graph )) Her inability to get beyond the tired script of " getting hammered " and the foot - in - mouth / resume inflation of being an American Indian notwithstanding - everything about Ms. Warren is really beginning to offer an odor. She was hand selected to run, then the field of other democratic candidates were " big footed " out of the way - she's the woman on the half shell, not served up by Botticelli but by the DNC. " Behold - Admire - Vote ". None of the inconvenience of fighting thru the primary process, none of that sharp elbowing to gain the confidence of the party and access to the money - No - she appears as a carefully orchestrated product roll out, worthy of the best movie producers of Hollywood or ad men on Madison Avenue. (( graph )) So - on WTKK - who gets to play the roll of the token conservative asking the hard ball questions ... Margie, ever the fluff ball with her empty suit giddy laugh or Jim - the constant conflict of professorial bombast mixed with Borscht Belt sex jokes? Honestly Ms. Warren, do you ever think about what your handlers agree to or is it simply stay in line - stay on script - seek safe harbors and friendly seas. Voters be damned - this is all about getting elected!
People still listen to the radio?
