Mitt Romney’s joint fund-raising committee announced Monday that it raised $106.1 million in June, the second-highest single-month total for a presidential candidate in history and $35 million more than President Obama collected in the same period, according to a report by Politico. The official announcement from the Romney campaign followed news reports that his committee had collected more than $100 million. Obama holds the record -- $150 million in September 2008 -- but raised only $71 million last month.
