Elizabeth Warren taps deep pockets near and far

Mass. leads way; US cities give big

Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren depended on deep pockets in California, New York, and donor-rich states to help fuel the nation’s most potent congressional fund-raising machine, according to her latest campaign finance report.

While Massachusetts remained Warren’s overall top fund-raising source, she collected more itemized contributions in New York and Los Angeles than any other city, including Boston, between April and June.

My name is Scott Brown and I approve this message.

There is no there, there with this news. A Senator represents not just her state but works on legislation that affects the whole country. Supposedly we are one country and if you endorse Prof Warren's policies it is quite reasonable to contribute to her candidacy, even if don't live in this state. The same goes for Scott Brown by the way. It does seem however Sen Brown is coming up short on support in Massachusetts where he is a known entity and once designated as most popular politician in the state. What should get people's attention is who contributes to each campaign as this is a reflection what direction each nominee of their party prefers for this country. The actual debates and face to face interviews like the one recently printed in the Globe should also help decide who is the choice that will better help our nation prosper. Sen Brown thinks everything is OK just the way it is and maybe even favors some failures of the past. Prof Warren understands that to achieve proper pay for your work the game can not be rigged in favor of those who already have accumulated extracted wealth with disproportionately little investment in American workers. This is where the rubber meets the road.

I'd prefer more innuendo and passive aggression but I like your moxie. I am Scott Brown and I approve this message as long as it doesn't hurt me in the election. Just don't tell anyone you're on my campaign staff.

Lizzy Warren is the candidate of Hollywood and Wall Street. She's come a long way from her roots in OK.

Barry the O has emulated Lizzy the Bankruptcy Professor, assailing Wall Street for its inhabitants' profligacy with financial matters. Lizzy says she mentors Occupy mobsters and is a knightess in some sort of armor to defend the Middle Class against financial irregularities. Yet, Lizzy collects big bucks in New York, with apparent wishes that everybody will believe her main givers are other pols and Broadway impresarios. Not wit does Lizzy say about the left-wing listed Wall Street fops who hope none of their peers notice when the report tossing Lizzy a bone or three worth a few hundred bux. Would Lizzy accept such? Naaaah... she is too pure for such malevolence... ROFLMAO

Lizzy was a snob as an Okey high school debatress and remains a snob as a Hahvud legal beagle... woof...

Can Lizzy see that her wannabe constituencies need rain? Can she dance and get the clouds to unload?

Technical problems prevented Scott Brown's office from being truthful. Nice.

From the article: "The latest candidate from the storied family — who is running to replace a retiring Barney Frank of Newton in the Fourth District — benefited handsomely from his family's reputation and connections." Connections? Yes. Reputation? No.

Really? Such a biased headline and manufactured story. Add in the areas around Boston and you'll have contibutions far in excess of New York and LA.

If people were serious about campaign finance reform then the laws would prevent you from from accepting donations from outside the area you represent. Who's interests are represented when she takes money from those she vows to fight.

The area a senator or member of congress represents is the USA. In fact one of the problems is that they represent their state or district more than their country.
