Mitt Romney on Tuesday accused President Obama of dismantling the bipartisan welfare reform law Bill Clinton signed in 1996, contending that Obama has waived work requirements on people who receive government assistance.
“If I’m president, I’ll put work back in welfare,” Romney said in Elk Grove Village, Ill. ‘‘We will end the culture of dependency and restore a culture of good hard work.”

Quit lying, Willard, and show us those tax returns you're trying to hide...what's in there, Dirty Willard? Voters want to know.
bo, I'm with you, I say open everything up, both candidates, would like to se all President Obama's credentials.
The Obama administration created the waiver option in response to governors' contentions that they could produce better results unbound by inflexible federal welfare rules---------- SORRY Globe. The law as written did NOT allow the president to waive the work requirements or allow states to waive requirements.------But if INFLEXIBLE Federal rules can be WAIVED by states, then any state that feels that the "Affordable Health care Act' is actually UNAFFORDABLE, then the state should WAIVE implementation of the law. (And, by the way, the MA legislature and governor have just PROVEN to the rest of the country that RomneyCare 2.0 is UNAFORDABLE.---And with regard to Mitt's tax returns, Mitt will release them as soon as Obama releases his college records, which have been mysteriously SEALED.
