Warren, Brown’s no third-party ad pledge holds

Viewers from Florida to Montana have been deluged for months by grainy images of politicians on Wild West wanted posters, cash changing hands in dark rooms, grandmothers losing benefits, and music that might be used to herald an impending shark attack.

Yet even as spending from super PACs and other interest groups reaches new levels this year, with more than $90 million spent in 16 states with Senate races, the money has not touched the Massachusetts Senate race since January.

Don't be such a crybaby.

Why I will not vote for Scott Brown: By Monday morning, top Republican officials were calling on Akin to resign, with strategist Mike Murphy summarizing the sentiment in a tweet: "Akin should put good of GOP first and resign nomination now after his idiotic comment. Senate control too important."

What does this have to do with anything of importance? Look at the senator from Kentucky.

Now this is real FUNNY. News media want Akin to resign, while Joe Biden's "Chains" remark is not only just fine with the news media, it's even perfectly fine with the Congressional Black Caucus! It's also perfectly fine with the NAACP, the ACLU, and the League of Women Voters----And back to MA, since the Globe is suggesting "civility" in campaign ads, why doesn't it ask Gov. Deval Patrick to be civil? The Obama campaign have not only announced that Deval will be a speaker at the Dem convention, his MAIN TOPIC is going to be to attack Mitt Romney as much as he can. (Of course we know how STELLAR Deval's record is as governor, and the Globe recently told us that the MA health care plan is running into financial trouble).

Thank you Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren, for find a way to pull off some limited campaign finance reform. We can but wish that other campaigns follow your excellent example.

That's because the "Chains" remark wasn't offensive, except to people desperate to slam Biden.
