WASHINGTON – Mitt Romney on Friday afternoon appeared to joke about the debunked claims about President Obama’s citizenship, telling a crowd in his native Michigan, “no one’s ever asked to see my birth certificate.”

Good for Mitt, daring to still tell jokes about silly things. I like him more every day.

It's obvious that Obama is LOSING in the polls. All of his negative adds have not registered positively with the voters. The electorate has finally awakened. They care about job, job, jobs, the economy stupid. Something that Obama doesn't have a clue as to how to create. Just keep spending and spending until hell freezes over. All of these distractions that the Dems throw out cannot cover up for his incompetance. One and done!

What was especially sad was the spector of the nuns cheering in the front row as he was making the dig

What was sad that nuns in the front row were cheering as he was making the dig-no joke that-the fact that the president of the U.S. had to show his short form and then long form birth certificate and half of rebublicans think ihe is not an American and a liar about his citizenship. The racist overtones are heartbreaking

Just like asking Mitt for transparency or consistency might be part of a standup routine. Seems like a fair trade: birth certificate and tax returns from Obama for birth certificate and tax returns from Mitt. L-O-L now?

Oh my goodness... the thin-skins of the Barry the O Chicago hack mob... Po babies... Barry and his flunkies... such as that tight-jawed female attacker named Cutter. . . can say what they want about Romney and Ryan... and in the case of Massachusetts...another female attacker with an esquire title . . . can accuse Incumbent Senator Scott Brown of going to war on women. Yet, poor little Barry the O and his cronies get all miffed if Romney tells a joke!! Imagine... Mitt Romney tries to tell a joke and the Demohacks get all mobbed up and irate. Says a lot about the Obamamob ... no sense of humor in that bunch... Romney said nobody asks for his birth certificate... a truth... So what is the problem? Obama doesn't stir enough trust in lots of Americans so they assume he may be something he probably isn't? That is a very dificult and dangerous leaning in this nation, which would become the host to millions upon millions of illegal aliens for two years due to an executive decision by Obama. This elements tie together... and trust is the glue... Wonder if it can be applied in Chicago, where gang killings are the latest rage...

Yes it is sad that there are questions about the President's true origins, but how can this econsumer raise a scurrilous charge of racism . . . Obama is half white . . . does a negative comment about him mean the commentor is antiwhite? I would suggest that the left's rush to charge "racism" bespeaks a lot about the weakness of their ability to contribute to a unified nation. . .

Excuse me? our former Governor is questioning the President's Birth Certificate? Must be time to question his George Romney's his father's birth place: Mexico where his Mormon ancestors refused to abandon their polygamist beliefs. But we can't talk about that because it would be bad mouthing the Romney legacy? Say what?

Good thing there is no history of racism or intolerance in Boston, either.

Globe says "to joke about the debunked claims about President Obama's citizenship". WHO says in this article that the claims are "debunked"? The Boston Globe? That's no proof of anything. ---And Mitt's missing tax returns should not be traded for Obama's. They should be traded for Obama's college records and financial aid records at Occidental, Columbia (where his fellow classsmates from 1983 and including every Political Science major, say that they never saw him and never heard of him), and Harvard Law School.--Remember: Candidate Obama voluntarily announced that his presidency would be the most transparent ever. ---Globe hasn't "debunked" these reports about Barack Obama (or even bothered to "investigate" them).
