Michael Dukakis calls Mitt Romney a ‘fraud’

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Former Massachusetts Governor Michael S. Dukakis, in his famously blunt speaking style, today labeled Mitt Romney a “fraud” as governor, said that Elizabeth Warren’s US Senate ads have been disappointing and will be changed, and declared that Raymond L. Flynn had abandoned his political past by endorsing Scott Brown.

“We know better than anybody what a fraud this guy is," Dukakis said of Romney - now the Republican presidential nominee - as he addressed the Massachusetts delegation to the Democratic National Convention.

If Clint Eastwood didn't prove last week that there is a time in life to sit back, shut your (public) mouth and watch, Mike Dukakis is about to drive that point home. In fact, he's already on his way.

If Dukakis want to see a fraud, all he has do is look in the mirror.  Better still he should look into the mirror with his tank helmut on.

Thanks a lot Mike, i just spit my coffee all over my computer. Fraud? Pot, meet kettle.

Sounds like Mike STILL "doesn't get it".  And attributing senility for Ray Flynn's  abandonment  from knee-jerk party affiliation toward reality is a disparagement Ray doesn't deserve.

Can you imagine sitting in a middle seat for a 12 hour plane flight to Self Delusion Island with Duke on your left and Jimmy Carter on your right?...Duke giving media advice, priceless.

Big words for a guy who couldn't even stand up to a corrupt midget.

Darn it Fred, you just brought back some repressed memories. I had buried that dark time-frame. Now I need to go hire some photographers find a tank to drive.

Second paragraph, first sentence. " We know better than anybody.....". That's your problem Mike, you always know better than anybody. Smartest guy in the room. Didn't do much for your presidential aspirations though.

Mitt's a fraud?  Takes one to know one.  Dukakis ran in 1988 on the Massachusetts Miracle and the wheels came off a year later.  By 1990 Dukakis couldn't have gotten elected dogcatcher in this state.
