President Obama’s joint fund-raising committee collected more than $114 million in August, his campaign announced Monday, the biggest haul of the election so far and enough to edge Republican challenger Mitt Romney for the first time since April.
Romney’s joint committee brought in $111.6 million in August, according to his campaign, its third straight month with more than $100 million in receipts.

I'm still waiting for them to pay me directly for my vote.
Why are Barak Obama's false promises not challenged by the media?
Here is a paragraph that Paul Blumenthal wrote in the Huffington Post, " When Barack Obama ran for president in 2008, a central tenet of his campaign was that he would not play the same old Washington game. He would push lobbyists to the side and demand reforms to the way politicians raise money for their campaigns. Once elected, he would "tell the corporate lobbyists" that their days of setting the agenda in Washington are over." IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.
Campaign finance reform was agreed upon by Senator McCain and Obama initially agreed to it - but - but when he found out it he could cash in with 'bundled' campaign funding he flip-floopped on campaign finance reform . . . Obama has flip-flopped over and over again. But the teflon man continues to smile for the cameras and bound on stage to plead for HIS FUTURE. He doesn't like the idea of joining the millions of Americans who are unemployed.
Obama and Romney said they would not campaign today, but Obama sent Clinton to FLA. Respect.
And Romney gave a speech where he didn't attack the President by name, but ranted about his policies. What's your point?
