JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said it’s never too early for America to condemn attacks on its sovereignty and says the White House gave ‘‘mixed signals’’ in its response to the breach of the American embassy in Egypt.
Romney on Wednesday condemned attacks against the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four US diplomats, including the US ambassador.

Why would Mitt Romney put down the US government at a time when we're being attacked? This man has no principles.

Romney and Co. have completely lost it. They are so desperate to look like they have a clue about foreign policy, they will say almost anything no matter how BIG THE LIE!

A report I heard on the radio reported that the film was made by an Israeli.

The real disgrace, Mr. Candidate Romney, is your unwarrented criticism of the administration's response to the attacks on our embassies before their ashes have cooled. We are at war with half the world. You bring parochial bickering to the international stage where a united front is essential.

Governor Romney's attempt to politically capitalize on dead American diplomats is perhaps the most disgraceful behavior that I can remember. Americans should stand together when events like this occur. He should be ashamed.
Mitt Romney was already losing this election, now he's losing in a landslide. He disgraced himself and his supporters ought to have enough dignity as Americans to quit trying to join him with their disgusting arguments designed to score cheap political points. Poor, illogical and totally ineffective arguments by the way.

I'm not the biggest fan of Obama but Mitt's a buffoon! The only thing he possesses is good business acumen. With a complex global economy there's only so much a president can do to alter the US economy. You're either fortunate or unfortunate to be holding office during a great economy (Clinton) or an economic downturn (Obama). Given this, business acumen is only of so much value. Mitt's proven to be a fool in international relations. We barely survived the follies of Bush, we don't need another loose cannon in office. Too bad the Republicans couldn't have found a better candidate. There was no way I could vote for a McCain/Palin ticket with Palin being a heartbeat away from the presidency and now we have Mitt! Yeeesh!
The ambassador and three others were dead. The initial message released by the embassy likely came from a scared and confused civil servant. Romney, though, tries to make it Obama's responsibility. I agree with Bendogger: Romney is a buffoon.
It's worse than that. The comments were in response to the video. Nothing at all to do with the attacks.
Here is a case where all Mitt has to do is sit back and call for an investigation. That's all he has to do. It's really difficult to screw that up! His only saving grace is time. If this were to happen a month later, say at the end of October, Mitt would be done like dinner.Stick a fork in him.
An investigation of what, exactly? Mitt's seditious attacks on the United States?
It;s about integrity. While Mitt's initial statement may not knowingly have been a lie, his re-affirmation today was a total fabrication. Worse, he has yet to express remorse for the victims. He's utterly unfit for the office of President. http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/09/a-timeline-of-the-attacks-in-libya-and-egypt----and-the-responses.php
