Mitt Romney’s home advantage now eclipsed in N.H.

Campaign seeks turnaround via its ‘ground game’

MILFORD, N.H. — Mitt Romney trounced the field in the Republican primary this year, owns a vacation home on Lake Winnipesaukee, and governed neighboring Massachusetts with a bottom-line relish that should resonate with fiscal conservatives here.

But in a scenario being repeated in swing states around the country, Romney finds himself trailing President Obama in recent New Hampshire polls as precious days vanish from the campaign calendar.

Comments

New Hampshire will not go for Romney, despite the primary.   They have a strong history of being able to detect which politicians are telling them the truth.   And they don't much like people from Mass, especially a prior governor who has a mansion on a lake thaof most of them could never afford.

So lets see...those for Obama in the story state reason why they'll vote for him, but those for Romney say Obama is a Communist! That is the essential difference between those for Obama and those who wear tinfoil on their heads to keep out the alien ray gun beams!

We're talking about a state where they give you the wrong directions on purpose!  Half of those Obama voters are really NH punks who have zero intention of voting for Obama.  They get their fun by playing with your head.  They won't be voting for Obama.
