11:04 p.m. | ANALYSIS: Television networks are weighing in with some pro-Obama commentators critical of the president’s performance. On CNN, James Carville, the famed Democratic consultant, said Obama “didn’t bring his ‘A’ game.” On MSNBC, a roundtable that included a number of pro-Obama commentators, expressed exasperation that the candidate didn’t seem to have watched the network. If he had, they suggested, Obama might have had more ammunition to go after Romney.

Mr Romney is ignoring the rules, not listening and using a bully pulpit to expound. I wish I had used a timer to determne if they are getting equal time. It totally seems that Romney is going way over and using the lack of control by the moderator to steam roll. I am also getting so confused by his rhetoric.

President Obama was prepared for the debate by John Kerry. I guess he's learned that's like preparing for a fight against Mike Tyson by sparing with Pee Wee Herman.

Could somebody please explain to me why the fact checkers sited here should be accepted as checking the facts without a bias? Is there a pledge they sign not to let their political persuasions come into play? If so, is it punishible by termination? LOL - hope not - or the globe will need to hire a whole lot of new employees!
The Globe's "fact Check" department is phonier than a $3 bill. Notice that, when mentioning the "Affordable care Act", the Globe NEVER shows a link to specifc parts of the actual bill.-- "Globe says 10:28 p.m. | FACT CHECK: The “board” that will dictate health care coverage: Romney said the Independent Payment Advisory Board created under the Affordable Care Act would dictate what services Medicare enrollees should get. The board would make recommendations to Congress to control Medicare costs. Congress could reject them, but would have to find altnerative ways to cut the program’s budget by the an equivalent amount. See this explanation from the Kaiser Family Foundation"-- In the debate Barack Obama said that the Medicare Independent payment advisory board (that's it's name in the bill) can be overruled by Congress. However, here's a sentence from the actual bill. Section 3403--"Any advisory report submitted under this subparagraph shall not be subject to the rules for congressional consideration under subsection (d). " That sentence means that barack Obama LIED during the debate and the Globe "Fact Check" didn't check facts.
If the American people fall for the Republican Party of lies then as Bush they get the disaster they deserve. Do not come whining when NOTHING comes trickling down from the top, when the 1% go yachting and when they CREATE NOTHING no jobs nada because they WILL ship jobs overseas. Big government is a good sound bite BUT it's ALWAYS a sound bite. We are a HUGE country and each state on the big issues cannot be going its own way.
The one flaw I saw in the president is he did not verbally chop this deception that is Romney's whole life. Really? Appeal Obamacare? and then what? 50 more million in ER's? BAD VERY BAD and the sooner the American public gets it IF they ever do the better. The Republican Party is NOT about you and it never will be. Romney has nice hair and THAT'S it. TAX CUTS FOR THE VERY WEALTHY? WHY? So they can go to the Cayman Islands with their off shore tax free accounts? WAKE UP AMERICA YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED!
You fail to mention that Romney repeated over & over the Republican LIE about "the $716 Billion Medicare Cut," with Romney knowing damn well that many authorities have already SHOWN it to be a lie. The biggest LIE for residents who endured Romney's four years as an absentee governor, while he flew around the country with his personal Presidential campaign '08 business, however, is his CONSTANT CLAIMS that HE was the architect of the MA Universal Health Plan. QUITE THE CONTRARY, it was what he called, "the 87% Democrat legislature," that put that it together, while he & his Republican cronies fighting tooth & nail to water it down or gut it! Many of us WHO WERE IN STATE would agree that Romney's interests were NOT in the people of MA, but in "#1" !
