Romney pledged to take fight to Obama, and he delivered

Throughout his second bid for the presidency, Mitt Romney has said repeatedly he could not wait for the chance to stand on a debate stage with Barack Obama and not only hold him accountable for his record during the past four years, but outline his own plans for the future.

He proved Wednesday night it was no idle boast.

Gees, Glen Johnson sounds like he could be ROMNEY'S campaign manager. I don't expect ANY impartiality from the pseudo-"news" sources, The Boston Herald, or FOX news, but did think HERE you would at least point out to readers two key things that many observers are livid about: 1) Romney OVER & OVER again repeated the LIE about Obama "taking $716 Billion from Medicare," and LIED about several other facts, some of which were referred to by your "fact checkers." AND 2) Moderator Lehrer did a VERY POOR job in allowing an equal amount of time for both candidates. Romney took FULL advantage of the aging man's inability to give Obama equal time, and surpassed the "2 minutes" or number of allowable responses THROUGHOUT the debate. It's a disservice & disrespectful to the viewers when Romney dominates the clock.

Oh, Glen, so someone promises to attack and they do, and that constitutes delievering on a promise? What did you think Romney was going to do, promise to attack and then stand up there bawling.

Instead of this puff piece, why don't you do your job...and hold the candidates responsible for what they said. This just may be more important that how they said it.

Glen, please check out the NY Times extensive effort at fact checking. Mitt Romney does not come off looking very good. Is this a metter of concern to you? You think that should count for something in evaluating his performance?

Or as a member of the press, an analysist no less, do you not feel it is your job to have Mitt Romney explain the details of his proposals on health/tax/deficit policy? OK with you if he says he will not supply the details so he can be bi-partisan with congress? You buy that?

This is the one of most shallow pieces I have read in a long time.
