CINCINNATI — From the stoop of his rented home amid row houses in one of Ohio’s poorest counties, Neil Howell wondered aloud if anyone could truly make a difference in the lives of families like his. Does it matter who wins the White House?
As President Obama and Mitt Romney crisscross Ohio this month, Howell has watched in disappointment the two tangling over foreign affairs, the economy, and taxes on the middle class and the rich. There’s been scant talk, he said, about improving the lives of America’s poor.

"Romney has so far offered a trickle-down approach: easing regulatory and tax burdens on job creators to spur the economy and lift the entire spectrum of wage earners."
If it trickles, then why isn't it trickling down now since the rich are still getting their kindly treatment from the IRS.
And Uncle Mitt pays only 14 percent. So, Uncle, how have you contributed to the trickle?
Obama has ignored everyone's plight for the past 4 years - except the Wall Street Bankers. Obama couldn't accomplish any of his promises from his first campaign - what makes anyone think he will be any different the 2nd.time around???? Obama will continue to ignore the middle class and everyone else.
Obama & Biden CAN NOT tell us what they will do if elected for another 4 year term - WHY are they keeping their plans from the voters? That is a question that should have been asked last night. We have NOT HEARD one word uttered from their mouths about their plans - but, on the other hand, we have to ask if it is meaningful to hear anything from Obama's lips. Obama can't remember his promises from 4 years ago. His previous campaign promises: immigration policy (NO); gun reform (NO), tax reform (NO); solve unemployment (NO) . . . create jobs (NO). Say "NO" to Obama in 2012.
