Clashes over the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, one of the most contentious foreign policy disputes in the presidential race, provided high drama in Tuesday’s debate, but both President Obama and rival Mitt Romney omitted important details about the US reaction and investigation of the siege that killed four Americans, including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.
And neither man answered the question posed by a undecided voter in the audience at Hofstra University.

Gov. Mitt Romney was frequently prevented from talking, and in the instance of the Benghazi attack, he was abruptly CUT - OFF by Moderator, Candy Crowley. To add insult to injury, Ms.Crowley spoke out in support of Obama's lie. Both Obama & Ms. Crowlwy claimed Obama said the attack was a "terrorist attack" in the Rose Garden (9/12), the day after four Americans were killed. WRONG.
Ms. Crowley's support of Obama's lie on national television provides a clear example of how the press corp & media lies for the Democrats with odds against fair reporting for Republicans.
The smirk on Obama's face when he noted the transcript betrayed that Obama's team had obviously spoken to Eye-Candy Crowley before the debate and told her they were going to reference that line, and probably showed her AND gave her the transcript to reference later. It's like working the refs before the game, that they 'are going to have plays in motion that will look off-sides but won't really be off-sides'... Obama worked the ref before the game!!!!!!! And if you watch the tape again, it is OBVIOUS! That the rest of the media participates and lets them get away with it is reason alone to vote against the media's candidate Obama.
It absolutely amazes one that the Boston Glob runs this old tale of attempted political propagandizing by a CNN poobahess two days after the fact of the propaganda. The one time Candy Crowley inserted herself as an information source into the Romney-Obama debate on Oct. 16 took her out of the realm of being an honest broker as debate moderator into the role of opinionator focusing on one side of the debate. Her spoken claim that she absolutely knew that Barry Obama was talking about terrorism on Sept. 12, 2012 in the Rose Garden belies her job as reporter, a job that would require a decent journalist to at least make a brief check of the facts. That no time was available during the televised presidential candidates' debate is beside the point. One can only hope that, with this Globe contribution to history, that the U.S. regime, headed by a Chicago guy named Barry, will come clean with the 'truth' of the entire Benghazi consulate episode, including the State Department officials who tur4ned down requests for additional security prior to Sept. 11. As for whether the President/Vice President were responsible, that is one of those issues that is difficult, but not imposible, to pin down. President Harry Truman had the famed 'buck stops here' quote sign on his Oval Office desk, but he was also somewhat insulated from covert operations run by factions of the CIA under the 'plausible deniability' policy. So Barry Obama tries to wrap himself in the positive side of the 'buck stops' legend, even while praising Secretary of State Clinton for her work as his underling. Wonder if the family of a person hit and killed by a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service sedan driven by a federal employee can sue Barry as liable for the employee's lousy driving. Maybe Barry needs to drape himself in that old 'plausible deniability' cloak.
The President said on the Daily Show that "When four Americans get killed, it's not optimal."
