Obama gives his strongest debate performance

In July 2008, Barack Obama snuck out of his house on the South Side of Chicago and made a secret trip to Midway Airport, where the then-Democratic presidential nominee boarded an unmarked Gulfstream jet for a flight to Washington and, ultimately, his first visit to Afghanistan.

Just over four years later, now-President Obama sat on the stage for his third and final debate with Mitt Romney and dissected his Republican challenger’s foreign policy views. He suggested the former businessman lacked the familiarity, consistency, and forward-looking approach to be an effective president.

My favorite part was when Obama agreed with Romney's statement that our weak economy puts us at risk of becoming a second rate player in world politics. Obama put his foot in his mouth with that one.

All of America, and undecided, independent women in particular, saw Romney as a capable Commander-in-Chief and in full-command of foreign policy issues.  He accomplished that without looking like a war-monger.  Obama wins the debate, but Romney wins the ladies, and the election.  Romney didn't once fall for the gotcha moment that Obama kept planting.  Romney wins the war by NOT crushing Obama in-front of the ladies in the debate on things like Libya...

I agree.

Glen Johnson's description of what happened is so far off what viewers saw on TV, and were watching the actual body language of the contestants, that I can come to only one conclusion:--Glen didn't WATCH the debate. He actually was watching Monday Night Football!
