Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren leads Republican incumbent Scott Brown in the latest poll of their US Senate race.
A WBUR survey released today had Warren at 48 percent and Brown at 43 percent, a 5 percent gap that exceeds the poll’s 4.4 percentage-point margin of error.

The voters seem to be wizing up to Brown's bogus charges about Indian heritage, Warren's corporate climates and academic background.

Have you turned on the radio?? They aren't bogus charges and she isn't Indian. And the Indians explain why. Not to mention, you can't be self-admittedly 31/32 white and legally claim to be minority. It is NOT legal!! And Liz Warren DID kill a settlement, to the point that the judge was quoted as being 'disgusted'. But thanks for the pathetic propaganda in support of a woman who has never been a selectman, never been a state rep, never been a state senator, never run a product line, never laid awake at night sweating out meeting payroll every two weeks, never been a mayor, never done anything that even remotely qualifies her for this office. Oh, and she isn't even from here!! Ask around: no one is voting for the fraud Liz Warren.
A shift of this magnitude makes one wonder about the quality of the WBUR survey. I'm putting my twenty bucks on Scott Brown.
As I noted above, it's not a shift of great magnitude. The Rasmussen had Warren ahead by 2 points on Oct. 11, which was 2 weeks ago and indicated movement toward Warren.
In close polls the actual numbers are less important than movement, which is why I've been pretty worried about Obama in recent polls because it appears the movement is toward Romney.
Obviously, after the last poll gave the lead to Brown, BUR, the liberal machine that it is (and one that no one really pays attention to), decides to manipulate the questions and likely ask them in Amherst and Cambridge...Gee, 2 weeks left and warren leads? I think I'll change my vote to Warren so I can always say I voted for her! You dems are a complete joke...
Stop being a cry baby. Vote for Warren and you'll be on the winning side.
You're giving inaccurate information. The last WBUR poll released on Oct 9, had Brown up by 3 points.
Two days later, Oct 11, Rasmussen had Warren up by 2 points. Rasmussen is usually considered a Republican-leaning poll. On the same day Public Policy Polling released a poll with Warren up by 6 points. That indicates the earlier WBUR poll had Brown too high -- what's called an outlier.
In the last 2 or 3 weeks Brown has been running extremely nasty negative ads that end with "This is Scott Brown and I approve this message." That belies the earlier ads implying that he's a nice guy. I think they're hurting him.
Really?
No one believes the garbage polls quoted by the Boston Globe anymore. The same outfit tried to say Obama is ahead in New Hampshire... but the poll was such garbage that they actually took their name off of it!!!! Funny, they don't feel the need to do that in this state, but garbage is garbage...
Republicans believed the very same poll when it showed Brown ahead. A change of 9 points in Warren's favor in two short weeks demonstrates that Brown is tanking big time. Voters have wised up to his fake "independence".

Who can forget a prior Globe headline ten days before an earlier election: "Coakley in comfortable 15-point lead over Brown".
Republican's don't cheer-on bogus polls. If you want the REAL status of any race, you need the highest-priced Rasmussen poll (not the cheaper ones). To find out the real status of any race, take the highest-priced Rasmussen poll and simply deduct one point from the Repubican side. THAT will give you the most accurate take you can get on any race. Proven over time with 20/20 factual hindsight. If Rassmussen says Brown 54- Warren 47, you can assume the race is Brown 53- Warren 47. You get the idea. Regardless of which party you support, under no circumstances should ever trust any poll quoted by the Boston Globe.... and you should all understand why by now...
Rasmussen is notoriously inaccurate over the years. It leans heavily Republican so that will make some people feel good, whether or not the polls reflects the real situation. The last Rasmussen poll for the Senate race was on October 11 and Warren was ahead by 2 points.
"After months of running even, Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren has inched ahead of Republican incumbent Scott Brown...."
If Rasmussen has the Democrat moving into the lead, I'd say things aren't looking particularly encouraging for Brown. Nevertheless, denial might be comforting.
Where are the stories about the e-mails sent from the state dept to the white house two hours after the Bengazhi attack? They seem to be lacking in the mainstream press.
Oh you are just printing this to make the libs feel better. A WBUR survey is as believable as a Fox News survey.
BTW People vote. Polls and lawn signs don't. Counting lawn signs is just as accurate as 99% of polls.
One of your cohorts said a few messages ago: "Ask around: no one is voting for the fraud Liz Warren."
Birds of a feather.
Have Warren's brothers ever stepped forward to claim that they are of Native American heritage as well? I don't think I have ever seen anything in any newpaper from her brothers. Of course, where they have all served in the military (many thanks to them) that information would be disclosed in their personnel files.
Obviously with polling numbers such as she has been getting consistently nobody cares.
Harvard has never in its entire history hired a professor on anything but merit. Brown knows that.
Thanks for reminding people that Scott Brown is a picayune, petty, LIAR.
Ya,and we are going to get 30 inches of snow tonight. Anything the Globe can do to sink Brown they will do. These poll numbers are about as reliable as Professor Warren's word that she is an American Indian.
Since the Indian thing has been around for many months, anyone who cares about it has already made their choice. Bringing it up at this point is pretty silly.
Live in your own world much? Warren has been ahead in every poll for a month.
She has cracked 50 points all but one of those polls. Brown has not since March.
Harvard has never hired any professor based on anything but merit. Who cares what Elizabeth thinks she is?
Brown lied about her work for Asbestos and Coal workers, literally telling the opposite of the truth.
Brown knows that she did not practice law illegally as she presents in Federal courts and never has presented in MA court. He knows the system and he lied.
Brown has lied through his teeth about his voting record.
Deal with the truth and, if you do, you will also realize that Brown is a fashion model who had a lucky election.
The right-wing view of polls is interesting.
Brown is up by 5 points: That just proves Warren is a goner.
Warren is up by 5 points: It's an unrealiable, invalid poll.
So funny, but it's a right-wing phenonmenon. When Warren's been down in the polls... Well, let's just say that I never found it very productive to deny reality.
Right wingers don't understand statistics, trend analysis, averaging out error etc.
If they did, they would understand why global warming is real.
