At her first of five stops of the final day of campaigning, Elizabeth Warren held a rally outside a Dorchester coffee shop, wrapping herself in the Kennedy mantle. She was joined by two of Ted Kennedy’s children, Edward M. Kennedy Jr. and former Rhode Island congressman Patrick Kennedy, both of whom said Warren would carry on the Kennedy family’s fight for the less powerful. Senator Scott Brown seized on a “60 Minutes” broadcast Sunday night about the state of intense gridlock in Congress to make a final a pitch that his bipartisan pledge is crucial to moving the country forward. “We had our two leaders, the majority and minority leader down there and neither of them would even look at each other,’’ he said at the Depot diner in Beverly Monday morning, recounting the episode.
