WRENTHAM — Senator Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren raced around the state today from early morning until evening, hugging babies and rallying supporters as they made one final push for votes on the last day of campaigning in the tight race for US Senate.
Riding a campaign bus, Brown made nine stops that took him from Lynn to Worcester, to his hometown of Wrentham for one last evening rally in a function hall where he has marked important moments in his political career. At Lake Pearl Luciano’s tonight, he stood with his wife before several hundred supporters, a scene similar to the one just prior to his 2010 victory, and on the night of his election to the state Senate in 2004.

Yeah, bridge to nowhere....
He will vote for a new Supreme Court Justice identical to Antonin Scalia who votes in unison with Clarence Thomas. I can't imagine any woman voting for Brown unless they have religeous beliefs driven by the teachings of the Vatican. If abortion becomes illegal, the prisons will house people who were sent there by the followers of the pope. Voting for Brown will send us backwards in history.
Anyone who understands arithmetic will understand that on deficit reduction, Brown, who voluntary checked the Grover Norquist box, can only be partisan (notice, there is no bi there) when it comes to negotiating with the ''other side of the aisle' as he is so fond of calling his Democrat colleagues. Would have loved to have heard his actual ideas and priorities on what should be cut from government before he ducked out of the last debate. Used to be a nice guy....now seems so empty.
A bridge between the rich and the super rich.
Interesting comment from Bill Clinton about Brown being that Republican majority to block Obama's agenda. If anything, he's the most moderate Senator we've had here in ages. And what is my alternative? Sending Warren, the hand-picked candidate of the political elite, to serve as a rubber stamp for the Obama agenda? Sorry, but there's plenty in his agenda that I do not agree with. I prefer an independent voice.
Then, looking forward, what happens to John Kerry? What happens Hillary steps down, as rumored, to prepare for her 2016 run, and Kerry becomes Secretary of State? Who will the White House call to tell us who to appoint as the new 'interim' senator? Will the voters have a choice? "Hello Deval? That's for all the campaign help for the last year." That's bipartisanship? We can do better.
Scott Brown is NOT A MODERATE. Only if you believe him without checking the facts would you swallow that nonsense from him.
He did a couple of showcase votes that would not have won anyway. He fully participated in Republican record filibusters, sponsored the most right wing bill of this Congress - the Blunt amendment.
Instead of believing what he says on faith - look at his real record. You will realize in every case Scott Brown is an empty suit and a serial liar, based on Document, Witness and on Public record.
Brown is only bi-partisan when it is it doesn't matter, but when the Republican whip call, he votes with this party.
He is an empty suit.
You're delusional. Brown votes what's best for evedryone. The empty suit is that tax dodger Kerry.
Still can't figure out why middle class voters would vote a republican, since republicans and Brown wouldn't extend tax cuts for the middle class UNLESS millionaires got one too. That says it all.
Go warren!!!
Scott Brown can go back to modeling.
Warren talks about students being crushed with student loan debt. Maybe Warren collecting over $200,000.00 for teaching one class at Harvard is the biggest part of the problem with students b eing overcharged for tuition. And as far as tax cuts, when the millionaire's get tax cuts along with the middle class we all win because that creates jobs. That's what happened when the Republican Congress zsnd Senate for Clinton's last 2 years as President did to grow the economy and create jobs. Vote Brown and forget about Warren and her partisan vote that will get nothing done in Washin gton. She'll be an empty slug like Kerry.
