Frank says he won’t run against Brown in special election

It’s cable catnip — but apparently nothing more than that.

Representative Barney Frank today dismissed weekend TV chatter that he could be a candidate for the US Senate against Republican Scott Brown, if there’s a special election in Massachusetts.

Kind of shocked there are no crazy comments...pleasantly surprised!

Scott Brown I'm afraid, has very little to offer the citizens of Massachusetts. He was a fluke, a blip. Turns out when he felt the pressure he turned very nasty and exposed himself as a biased, provincial dude of limited scope. Remember, he was the guy who got elected by promising to do away with the Affordable Health Care Act. He wasn't ultimately successful in that endeavor but he also could have stopped Citizens United and didn't try. He fits right in there with Carl Rove, the Koch Bros., Mitch McConnell and Philip Anschutz. This guy is not only a Republican, he carries the acrid and foul stench of corporate oligarchy, the overbearing yeasty smell of the collared patron who knows better than you and I. Let us not go there again.

Whoops! I served up some crazy! Sorry Chaucer...I was just hoping that I'd heard the last of Scott Brown.
