WASHINGTON — President Obama said Saturday that Republicans in the House are blocking a bill that would prevent a tax increase on the first $250,000 of income earned by all Americans.
The Democratic-controlled Senate has approved the measure, but Obama said House Republicans have ‘‘put forward an unbalanced plan that actually lowers rates for the wealthiest Americans.’’ Obama supports a plan to raise taxes on families earning more than $250,000.

This duscussion would not even be necessary if the Congress looked into the waste of the Black Budget and the enormous costs of the CIA's secret operations. And who is paying for the unmarked aircraft every day spreading long smoke-like trails in the sky.No, nay and nay, they are not contrails. What is this all about? And who is paying for it? I know, taxpayers without the consent of their Congress. Doesn't anybody realize that we have another government that's also running our country, over which we have no control?
The CIA has itsown air force? And who paid for it? The taxpayers, again, with no Cngressional ovesight or authorization. That's where an unconcsionable amount of our national treasure is going. And what happened to the four trillion lost between 1998 and 2001 and no one knows where it went? Can we trust this government and its wasteful practices?
